This Personal Information is obtained in many ways including via email, our website www.nmtl.com.au, cookies and other website data and from third parties. We don’t guarantee website links or policy of authorised third parties.

We collect your Personal Information for the primary purpose of providing our services to you and marketing. We may also use your Personal Information for secondary purposes closely related to the primary purpose, in circumstances where you would reasonably expect such use or disclosure. When we collect Personal Information, we will, where appropriate and where possible, explain to you why we are collecting the information and how we plan to use it.

Security, Storage and Deletion of Personal Information

When your Personal Information is no longer needed for the purpose for which it was obtained, we will take reasonable steps to delete your Active Personal Information. You have the right to request the deletion of your Personal Data at any time. If you decide to exercise this right, we will process your request and delete your Active Personal Information within 14 days from the date of receiving your deletion request.

However, please note that certain Personal Information may be stored in our backups, which are designed for disaster recovery and business continuity purposes. These backups may include Personal Information that has been deleted from active databases. We understand the importance of data security and confidentiality, and we apply the same level of protection to the information in backups as we do to Active Personal Information.

To balance the need for data retention with privacy concerns, we adhere to a standard retention period of up to 5 years for data in backups. After this period, Personal Information will be permanently removed from our backups.

Access to your Personal Information
