Did you know? Our Konjac Sponges are manufactured in Japan from premium-quality Konjac fibers. They're made from plant fibres, coloured with naturally occurring pigments and are home compostable. You can pop them into your garden beet at the end of their lifecycle!

Three variants, more than pretty colours: The natural sponge is said to be best suited for sensitive skin, made with only three ingredients: Konjak fibres, Water and Calcium Hydroxide. The Charcoal and Green Tea variants are said to have enhanced skin cleansing properties due to the Binchotan Charcoal (Japanese activated charcoal) and the Green Clay. Green Tea extract is said to have detoxifying and skin toning properties.

Natural Konjac sponges are already exceptionally good at cleansing and exfoliating skin, and variants with added ingredients are still suitable for most individuals with sensitive skin.

Size: one Konjac Sponge, approx 7 cm (dry) to 8 cm (hydrated) in diameter

Allow the sponge to soak in water until fully softened (which usually takes a few minutes on the first use). Gently squeeze the sponge to remove excess water, avoiding wringing it out as this can reduce its lifespan. You can then use the softened sponge directly on your face or in combination with your favourite cleanser.

Each sponge usually lasts for 6-8 weeks with daily use. The sponge can be disinfected to maintain hygiene by soaking it in hot water. Be careful not to burn yourself. The easiest way to disinfect the sponge is to squeeze-dry it to remove excess water, place it in a bowl, and add hot water until it is fully submerged. Allow it to sit for at least 30 minutes to ensure everything cools down before handling the sponge again. Ensure that the bowl with hot water is out of reach of children. Rinse with clean water and squeeze dry.
